Absolutely not. Your system will only draw the amount of power it needs. The extra capacity of a higher wattage unit will improve the power supply's operating regulation range, hold up time, ripple, cooling, and MTBF. |

Whats the difference between the RMC4A and the RMC4S. Will the RMC4A and RMC4S accomodate a 14-slot backplane? |

RMC4A is a shorter chassis, only 17.7?. Basically they are the same, but 4A is targeting Telco market which want 18? or shorter chassis.
Yes, both of them would fit 14 slot backplane. Depending on your configuration, you could fit up to 14 full length cards, on condition that you don't have any drives at the front right corner. If you do, you can only use up to 11 full length cards and 3 half length cards.

How many colors on your HDD tray's LED for RMC1D, 2E, 3E chassis? |

There are 2 LEDs on the tray, the top one and bottom. Top LED is Blue color LED. Bottom LED is bi-color Red and Blue LED.
Here are some scenarios and LED status:
1. Good HDD inserted, HDD in idle (no access)
a. Top: Blue light
b. Bottom: No light
2. Good HDD inserted, HDD spinning
a. Top: Blue light
b. Bottom: Blinking Blue
3. No HDD inserted
a. Top: No light
b. Bottom: No light
4. Bad HDD inserted
a. Top: Blue light
b. Bottom: Red light

Yes we do. We make custom chassis from small modifications based on our standard chassis or we can custom made from scratch.
As a matter of fact, almost 70% of our business is based on custom made chassis for OEM customers.

How do I know which rackmount servers require Low Profile SDRAM? |

Low profile SDRAM are required in some of 1U RM case only, but it also depend on the mother board. if mother board memory slot has 45 degree angle then there is memory height problem otherwise, a Low Profile RAM is required. |

All of our Slimline CD-Rom/DVD drives come with an adapter to go from the JAE connector to a standard 40pin IDE connector. |

The BR-SCA35 only has one SCSI In and One SCSI out connector. All 5 of the drives would be able to only go through one channel. |
